Mumbai City FC forward André Moritz, who is the only player in the Hero Indian Super League to have scored a hat-trick, was delighted with his team’s second consecutive win after they overcame Delhi Dynamos FC by a 1-0 margin today. When asked about these straight victories, the Brazilian, who has previously played for Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderers, said, “Feels good, it’s always good to win, especially when you have kept a clean sheet because it shows the team’s work and the effort being put in. Of course, Nicolas (Anelka) scored in the last two games but we kept a clean sheet and worked together, so we’re really happy we won the two games consecutively.”Moritz agreed that extra focus was being given to defence after Mumbai conceded seven in two matches against NorthEast United FC and Chennaiyin FC. “Of course! That shows great team effort because we lost 5-1 against Chennai and everybody was like ‘what’s happening?’ So we’ve been training more defensively and we also know how to attack,” he told www.indiansuperleague.com.Moritz brushed aside a question about when he would score next, saying team victories are more important and not individual goals. “I’m here to provide goals, I’m a playmaker. If I score more goals that’s good for me but I like to provide goals and also win the game; it doesn’t matter if I don't score,” the former Internacional player affirmed.
