Mumbai City FC will be looking to get the better of Delhi Dynamos FC during their clash at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 alive. Mumbai beat Delhi earlier this season and will be looking to complete the double over the Dynamos.

“Everybody believes. They know that the priority is to qualify. We need to win two games in a row and we are in good form,” Mumbai head coach Alexandre Guimaraes said before adding at the pre-match press conference. “They (Delhi) are playing without any fear of making mistakes which means they are in a better state of mind. Of course, it doesn’t matter to them now. And this is the kind of game we will have to be very careful of as a team. You have to attack and defend well.”

When asked if he had any plans to stop Kalu Uche – Delhi’s top-scorer this season – the Costa Rican said: “Yes, they (Delhi) are in good form because the other players are assisting him (Uche). We will of course try and not make it easy for them.”

While commenting on injury concerns, Guimaraes added: “I am yet to communicate with my players. I will also have a word with my doctor and then we will see how to go about tomorrow’s game.”
