Jamshedpur FC travel to the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 on Wednesday, after two crucial wins at home. New recruit Wellington Priori has weighed in with an assist in the two games he’s been part of so far and will hope to add to his tally in Pune. Ahead of the fixture the Brazilian spoke with indiansuperleague.com and shared his thoughts on the upcoming tie. Here are the excerpts.
What is the most unique thing about Jamshedpur FC that attracted you here?
It’s not something unique but it’s something I like that the team is working as a family. So that is quite attractive to me and that’s why I came and I’m happy to be here.
How challenging it is to grasp or learn Steve Coppell’s training methods?
It’s not very difficult because he’s very clear. He’s a very nice guy, so it’s easy to learn with him.
Your prediction for the top four this season?
I don’t have any prediction but I hope that we will be there.
With the comeback win against Delhi, you are just three points away from the top four, how’s the atmosphere in training?
It’s great! Everybody is happy, everybody keeps working hard and most importantly, we remain humble. It’s good to see the team like that and we are in good ways and run in a good way.
Your thoughts for tomorrow’s game?
I hope we win, three points for us.
