Mumbai City FC will look to bounce back from their defeat against FC Goa and collect all three points against Jamshedpur FC on Friday to strengthen their position in the top four.

Before the match, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Mumbai's Raynier Fernandes for an interview. Here are the excerpts:

Thoughts on Mumbai City FC's preparations during the international break.

We are doing great. Training has been perfect. We all are working hard in the training.

After the win against Bengaluru FC, how did the team take the loss against FC Goa?

The match against Bengaluru FC was good as we got the three points. So, it was a good thing and we broke their unbeaten streak. The match against FC Goa after that, they broke our unbeaten streak. So, we are a little disappointed. Football is a game of winning and losing, so it was their day. We had a couple of chances but we didn't utilise them. We have forgotten about it now and we are focusing on the next match.

How is the team preparing for the upcoming matches?

The team's preparations have been going well. We all are giving 100% on the field. All the twenty-five players. So, we are confident that we will do well in the upcoming matches. We will go all out in every match.

Thoughts on the top four race.

We just need two wins more to secure a spot in the semi-finals. But now, all the teams are coming close to being in the top four. So, we are not thinking about them and we are doing our thing. We are preparing and know what we need to do for the upcoming matches. We just need to win our upcoming matches for us to do well.

Thoughts on Jamshedpur FC and their season.

They also are doing great this season but we are not focusing on them. We are focusing on us so that we get the three points.
