Kerala Blasters FC returned to winning ways in the 2015 Hero Indian Super League with a 2-0 win over table-toppers FC Pune City at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Wednesday evening. This was the Blasters’ second win in seven matches this season, the previous one coming in their opener against NorthEast United FC. Kerala captain Peter Ramage was a relieved man following the big win and expressed his delight in an exclusive interview with indiansuperleague.com. Here are the excerpts. Two goals and a clean sheet, what are your thoughts on the today’s game?I thought we deserved the victory. From start to finish, we dominated the game and kept it tight at the back. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t get a few more goals. But the position that we’re in, three points seemed to be the main thing and that’s what we have got.How confident do you feel after this victory? It’s massive for us. The dressing room is bouncing. Everyone is happy. But we have to keep this going. We can’t rest now, we have got to search for the next victory, with our next game coming up against Kolkata. Hopefully we can take our confidence from this game into that.Is this a first step towards a comeback?Hopefully! We have a long way to go now, and we need to keep up our form and keep winning. What did you think about the goals?Amazing finishes! I’ve seen Dags [Chris Dagnall] do that over many years in the English games. And Sanchez [Watt], I mean if we can get them to play like this, they’ll be scoring more and more.
