Marcelinho scored Delhi Dynamos FC’s second goal in their 2-0 win over Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Friday. It was their first win at home this season and took them to the top of the league. Kean Lewis opened the scoring for the Dynamos in the 56th minute before Marcelinho doubled the advantage with a well-executed header five minutes later. It was the Brazilian’s fifth goal this season, making him the joint top-scorer in Hero ISL 2016 along with NorthEast United FC’s Emiliano Alfaro. The 29-year-old, who has also provided four assists this season, spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the game.
