Marcelinho was at the heart of everything good for Delhi Dynamos FC during their 5-1 rout of FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday evening. Delhi’s Brazilian talisman scored a hat-trick for the Lions on the night to become the leading scorer of Hero Indian Super League 2016 with eight goals. The Brazilian also provided an assist for Richard Gadze’s first goal of the night as Goa’s defence struggled to contain him during his 82 minutes on the pitch. Marcelinho now has eight goals and five assists this season accounting for exactly half of the Dynamos’ 26 goals this year. He spoke to indiansuperleague.com following the final whistle and shared his thoughts on the win that helped the Lions put one foot in the semis.
