Azrack Mahamat will be looking to secure back-to-back wins in Hero Indian Super League 2016 as Kerala Blasters FC prepare to lock horns with Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Saturday. The defence-minded midfielder from Chad has become pivotal at the centre of the park for the Blasters and has completed one block, six interceptions and seven successful tackles for the men in yellow this season. He also boasts an impressive passing accuracy of 87% and will be entrusted with the task of keeping things ticking in midfield for Kerala on Saturday. How has it been so far?Honestly, it’s a very good experience for me and I like it and before coming here I spoke to a friend of mine who played last year in the league and he told me a lot of good things about the league, so I am enjoying the league a lot and I like it a lot.How does it feel playing under one of the best managers in Steve Coppell?It is always good as he has managed big teams in his career and he is a good coach and for us as players we can ask him anything and we can only improve under him and we try to give our best and listen to him.Tomorrow you have a big game against Chennaiyin and Kerala have a history against Chennaiyin, so do you think that will have an influence on the game and how important is it to get a result?Yeah, of course when you play a derby between two big teams. So for us, the players and the fans, it’s important to win the game and we will give our everything to get the three points and win the game.Any special message you have for the travelling Kerala fans…Our fans, they are always there for us and they push us, so we will do everything we can for our fans to win the game.
