After a poor start to the season, the Delhi Dynamos are finally beginning to show promise and garner a few positive results. The Lions put Kerala Blasters to the sword in the last match, deservedly taking home all three points.

Ahead of their next match against FC Goa, indiansuperleague.com caught up with Lallianzuala Chhangte on what he expects from the tie. Here are the excerpts:

What’s the mood in the camp like?

I think everything is going well now and we started our year this year mid-season in Qatar and we did well there, we trained a lot, we worked very hard and there’s a great bond between one another so we will try to continue this momentum going on.

Thoughts on the match against FC Goa?

Even though we didn’t start good but we are performing well now, let’s see because they will be a tough opponent. But we don’t want to feel the feelings that we felt in Goa, it was painful and we don’t want to feel that anymore so we will give our best and we will try to win the match.

Has the break helped the team build confidence?

Yeah, of course, the break has helped us a lot and even though the most important thing is to apply the things that we trained on the training ground in the pitch, that is very important so I think we did that and of course, there is a lot of points to improve so we will work on that too.

Any message for the Delhi Dynamos FC fans?

We need your support because they are very important team members for us like our 12th man so please come and enjoy the football match and please support us.
