The 30-year-old Zambian international who has 19 caps for his country shared his thoughts about the match in an exclusive interview with indiansuperleague.com. Here are some excerpts:Congratulations for your splendid opening goal and also for winning the Hero of the Match award. What do you have to say about your performance?I have to thank God for the good performance that I put in today. I trust in God and all that happens is because of Him.How did it feel scoring the opening goal for your team? For me, it just came together.Did the loss of Isaac Chansa who was substituted early in the game affect the balance in the team? The balance was not affected as the person that came in (Guilherme Felipe de Castro) did a splendid job just like Chansa did earlier. It didn’t affect us at all.You and Chansa have been playing for the Zambian national team for quite some time now. What do you say about his game and your understanding with each other? We know each other well and we have played together for some time. We know what we have to do and we know the position where the teammates are. It’s been good playing together in the same team again as we co-ordinate very well. What do you have to say of your experience in the Hero Indian Super League so far?The way the league is going, the fans, the people, I think they are very supportive. It’s a good league and I’m so happy with it. I hope this will continue. What do you have to say about your co-owner John Abraham? He’s a great man, he’s a good man. He’s always with us, supporting us, giving us the motivation and all those kind of things. He’s really good. And finally, have you seen any of his movies?I’ve just seen a short clip of his but not the whole movie.
