Josu Currais was thrilled following Kerala Blasters FC’s 2-1 win over FC Pune City at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Friday evening. The win saw the Blasters rise to third in the Hero Indian Super League 2016 table with 18 points from 12 games. Kerala took the lead through Duckens Nazon in the seventh minute before Aaron Hughes doubled their advantage near the hour mark. Anibal Rodriguez pulled one back late into injury time for the Stallions but it wasn’t enough as the men in yellow picked up their fifth win of the season. Josu, who completed one successful tackle, one block, two clearances and two interceptions, spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the final whistle.
