Dudu Omagbemi scored the Super Machans’ only goal in the 32nd minute of the game. The Nigerian striker is now the only player in the Hero ISL to score for three different teams having netted for FC Pune City in Hero ISL 2014 and FC Goa in Hero ISL 2015. He spoke to indiansuperleague.com shortly after the game. Here are the excerpts from the interview.Tough game today, what is your initial reaction? We didn’t play well, they were much better than us today. But this is just the beginning, there is still a long way to go so I believe we can still pick up from here. What do you have to say to your fans who came to support you today? We had great fan support today, it was quite a disappointing day for them hopefully we can make them happy in the future. We still have a lot of games to play, we have a good team, and we just need to work harder.Going forward, what positives have you got from the game today? We just need to be composed in each and every aspect. We weren’t all that bad, they were just better. They played a lot on the counter-attack. It was a good learning experience. On a personal note, does it feel good to get off the mark today?Yeah. Well I thought I was free though but I didn’t get the ball much. We tried our best today but the best wasn’t quite enough.
