Here are the excerpts from the interview. You are playing under Gianluca Zambrotta, who was arguably the greatest full-back of this generation. Please describe the feeling…It’s great, always learning from him on the training ground as well as during the match and after the match we sit down with him as we analyse and when we are in a game we discuss what can be done better, it’s always a learning experience and you know he’s a legend and he’s very inspirational. It’s been great training under him you know we are very lucky to have such a coach training with us, you know. For a young player like you, is there anything specific he wants you to do or any advice in general?Of course, there are a lot of things, like ‘don’t be be scared, just express yourself and be the player that you are and do what needs to be done as a team’. Team-plans and all these things. It’s really nice, he has time for the players you know he doesn’t force anything on you. If you’re making mistakes, he says it’s okay. You know you need someone like that at our age and thankfully we have that. How do your assess your team’s performance so far?So far pretty good, of course in a lot of matches we did pretty well but couldn’t get the points, sometimes we lost two points, a lot of matches have been draws and we were very unlucky in Kolkata. We would have been unbeaten till now if not for that defeat but you know that happens, it’s football and hopefully we’ll go forward now and do better and win more games and you know we don’t stop after a game against Goa and keep on winning and keep on getting the pointsYour home support has been pretty vibrant this time, fans have been flocking to the stadium. Do you have any message for them?Yes, the team has been working very hard and of course all football teams have good fans you know, so we are a good team and we need a lot of good fans and thanks for coming to the stadium and we are looking forward to playing in front of more fans in the stadium in the matches to come.
