Stat attack: Kerala Blasters FC, comebacks and a night of many firsts
From being two goals down to securing a two-goal victory, Kerala Blasters FC set some records straight.
Kerala Blasters FC made the roof go off at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi on Sunday as they rescued a victory from the jaws of defeat as they came back from 0-2 down to beat FC Goa 4-2.
The Yellow Army were trailing the Gaurs by a goal ten minutes from time before they turned the game on its head in a mad spell thanks to a brace from Dimitri Diamantakos and a goal from Fedor Cernyc.
With this stunning comeback, Kerala Blasters FC snapped a three-game losing streak to breathe new life into their League Shield aspiration as they struck a blow to fellow challengers FC Goa in the process who have now lost three games on the spin having gone the season unbeaten before that.
