Saturday's fixture pitted neighbouring rivals FC Pune City against Mumbai City FC. With the four semi-finalists already decided, the match had little consequence in the larger scheme of things but at the end of the day, it was the Maharashtra Derby and both teams were out to win. Mumbai head coach Jorge Costa left out a few key players like star striker Modou Sougou, left back Subhasish Bose, midfielder Matias Mirabaje to preserve them for the semi-finals. All of the above were on three yellow cards going into the match and a booking on the fixture would have ruled them out of the semis. Pune, on the other hand, took the field without the talismanic Marcelo Pereira, young sensation Ashique Kuruniyan and defensive stalwart Martin Diaz, all of whom were suspended for the match. Evenly matched, both teams put up an entertaining show on the night. However, it would be Pune's midfield enforcer Adil Khan who grabbed the highlights with a magnificent goal, which will surely be the frontrunner for the goal of the season.
Adil's strike helped the Stallions secure a 2-1 win in front of their home fans in their final match of the season.
Blitzkrieg at the Furnace

The Gameweek began with Jamshedpur FC hosting Bengaluru FC at the Furnace for both team's final match of the league phase. Having already secured a place in the semi-finals as the table toppers, Bengaluru head coach Carles Cuadrat fielded an inexperienced starting XI, opting to rest as many as eight of his first team regulars. To everyone's surprise, the young Blues were the ones to seize the initiative with a Semboi Haokip goal on the 16th minute. A shell-shocked Jamshedpur took time to recuperate and equalised on the cusp of half time through Augustin Fernandes. With everything to play for in the second half, Michael Soosairaj scored a brilliant goal on the 54th minute to put the Miners in front. What ensued after that was unlike anything Hero ISL fans have ever seen before. The floodgates swung wide open as Jamshedpur scored three more goals in the following seven minutes to end the campaign with a dominating win. Pablo Morgado followed up Soosai's goal with a brace, while Carlos Calvo put the fifth star in Jamshedpur's five-star victory on the 61st minute with a magnificent free kick.
