Matchweek 4 of the Indian Super League (ISL) featured some intense battles, with as many as four of the six fixtures ending in draws – two of which were goalless.
Hyderabad FC earned their first point of the season after a hard-fought draw against Chennaiyin FC. Odisha FC and Kerala Blasters FC shared the spoils in a 2-2 encounter, while FC Goa and NorthEast United FC played out an exciting 3-3 draw at the Fatorda.
Jamshedpur FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant bounced back with wins, standing as the only two teams to secure victories last week.
As another week wraps up, we highlight the best eleven players from Matchweek 4.
Goalkeeper
Albino Gomes (Jamshedpur FC)
Gomes displayed excellent goalkeeping skills against East Bengal FC, making six crucial saves, including a penalty save against Saul Crespo, which kept his team in the game and helped them secure their first clean sheet of the season. Gomes now holds the record for the most penalties saved (5) in ISL history.
Defenders
Rahul Bheke (Bengaluru FC)
Bengaluru FC dropped points for the first time this season, but their defence remained resolute, ensuring their fourth consecutive clean sheet of the season. Centre-back Rahul Bheke stood tall once again, leading the defence against the strong attacking lineup of Mumbai City FC.
Stephen Eze (Jamshedpur FC)
Eze was a rock at the back for Jamshedpur FC as they returned to winning ways, keeping a clean sheet against East Bengal FC. The Nigerian centre-back contributed with seven clearances, five interceptions, and two blocks.
Alex Saji (Hyderabad FC)
Partnering Stefan Savić in defence, Saji played a key role in nullifying the threats posed by the Chennaiyin FC attackers. His efforts earned him the Player of the Match award as they kept their first clean sheet in a goalless draw, securing their first point of the season.
Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan SG) - Captain
As the captain of the Mariners, Bose led by example in the Kolkata derby against Mohammedan SC. The left-back contributed a goal, an assist, and won 10 of his 12 duels, making a significant impact at both ends of the field in their dominant 3-0 victory over their city rivals.

Greg Stewart (Mohun Bagan SG)
Stewart was at the heart of the team's creative efforts, providing consistent service to the forwards. The Scottish midfielder scored one goal and assisted the other two in their 3-0 victory over Mohammedan SC.
Nestor Albiach (NorthEast United FC)
Albaich was brought back into the starting XI by head coach Juan Pedro Benali and repaid his coach's trust by scoring two goals from an expected goals ratio of 0.34. He also won all five aerial duels in the match against FC Goa.
Forwards
Noah Sadaoui (Kerala Blasters FC)
Sadaoui has made it to the Team of the Matchweek for the third consecutive week, continuing his red-hot form. The Moroccan scored one goal and assisted another for Jesus Jimenez as they played to a 2-2 draw at Kalinga Stadium. He created seven chances during the match, consistently troubling the opposition's defence.
Armando Sadiku (FC Goa)
Sadiku missed the last game against East Bengal FC due to injury but returned to the squad against NorthEast United FC, quickly resuming his goalscoring routine. He netted twice, including a penalty, as the Gaurs played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with the Highlanders at home.
Alaeddine Ajaraie (NorthEast United FC)
Ajaraie's red-hot form continued at the start of the season. The Moroccan scored one goal and provided an assist for teammate Albaich, attempting six shots, two of which were on target.
Head Coach - Jose Molina (Mohun Bagan SG)
