During the six-day matchweek, a total of 24 goals were scored, with Mirshad Michu and Vishal Kaith emerging as the only goalkeepers to secure clean sheets in this week of goal galore.

Mohun Bagan SG graced the pitch twice this week, while Jamshedpur FC remained inactive during this final week of fixtures.

In the culminating matchweek, attention was drawn to the ultimate League Shield decider, where Antonio Habas’ Mohun Bagan SG secured a 2-1 victory against Mumbai City FC to clinch their first League Shield. Notably, this victory marked the first instance for both Habas and the Mariners to attain the elusive title, a testament to their scintillating performances throughout the season.

Mirshad Michu (NorthEast United FC)

The goalkeeper for NorthEast United FC exhibited a stellar performance between the bars in their match against Odisha FC, contributing significantly to his team's season-ending triumph with a commanding 3-0 victory on home turf. In addition to making numerous crucial saves throughout the game, Michu notably thwarted Roy Krishna's spot-kick by expertly diving to the right side, thereby preserving their defensive solidity against Sergio Lobera's formidable team.

Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan SG)

The Mohun Bagan SG captain was in excellent form throughout the week, playing a pivotal role in Habas’ three-man defensive line. With his leadership qualities and mature understanding of the game, the veteran defender emerged as one of the key figures behind the Mariners’ consecutive wins against Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC.

Hector Yuste (Mohun Bagan SG)

The Mariners' defensive stalwart, Hector Yuste, complemented Bose and Anwar Ali effectively at the back, instilling confidence in the team's attacking players to capitalize on their offensive opportunities. The Spaniard also made a notable contribution to the scoresheet against Bengaluru FC, opening the scoring in the 17th minute. Yuste proved to be a vital asset for Habas in their defensive third, showcasing sharp interceptions, tight man-marking, and a composed demeanour.

Bekey Oram (NorthEast United FC)

Oram made his third start of the ISL 2023–24 season against Odisha FC, playing as a right-back for Juan Pedro Benali’s side. The 20-year-old footballer effectively thwarted several of Odisha FC’s attacks down his flank, demonstrating excellent coordination with his teammates to neutralize the threats posed by Roy Krishna, Cy Goddard, and others.

Midfielders

Madih Talal (Punjab FC)

Punjab FC’s one of the most impactful performers of the season, Madih Talal, showcased another spectacular performance against East Bengal FC, which dashed his opponent’s playoff hopes in their big 4-1 win in their final game of the season. The French attacking midfielder notched a goal and provided two assists against East Bengal FC, wreaking havoc on their defensive line.

Anirudh Thapa (Mohun Bagan SG)

Mohun Bagan SG’s dynamic midfielder scored his second ISL goal against Bengaluru FC with a clever back-flick inside the box. Thapa also exerted a commanding presence in Mohun Bagan SG’s midfield alongside Joni Kauko, aiding his team in stifling the opponent’s attacking movements. The Indian international also played a pivotal role in their final game against Mumbai City FC.

Brandon Fernandes (FC Goa)

Fernandes has proven to be an integral part of Manolo Marquez's offensive setup, demonstrating his sheer quality and potential with the ball. The attacking midfielder, who already boasts four assists in the ongoing season, secured his well-deserved first goal of the ISL season in their 4-1 victory over the Marina Machans.

Mohammed Aimen (Kerala Blasters FC)

Kerala Blasters FC’s homegrown talent, Aimen, scored his debut ISL goal against Hyderabad FC in their 3-1 victory in an away fixture. The 21-year-old has featured in 20 games in the ISL this season and is making significant strides with his impressive control of the ball and exquisite footwork.

Saurav Mandal (Kerala Blasters FC)

The midfielder, hailing from Punjab, earned his second start in the ISL 2023–24 season and left a notable mark in the final league stage game against Hyderabad FC. Mandal contributed two assists in their 3-1 victory over Thangboi Singto's side, helping the Blasters gather much-needed momentum heading into the playoffs.

Forwards

Dimitri Petratos (Mohun Bagan SG)

Mohun Bagan SG’s most reliable footballer, Dimitrios Petratos, got three assists to his name in their last two outings against Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City. With his 16-goal contribution for the Kolkata-based club thus far this season, the Australian forward has been the go-to man for the Mariners in every difficult situation.

Carlos Martinez (FC Goa)

FC Goa’s Spanish forward notched a brace against Chennaiyin FC in their final league-stage game at home, marking his 10th ISL goal for the club. Leveraging his extensive experience across various leagues, Martinez has seamlessly adapted to the Gaurs’ style of play, demonstrating his influence in the opposition third.
