NorthEast United’s ten games unbeaten streak under interim coach Khalid Jamil, after being winless in six matches, in the second half of the 2020-21 season was nothing less than a fairytale. Courtesy of which, the Highlanders not only made it to the semi-finals but were level pegging with ATK Mohun Bagan till the second leg of the semi-final.
