Indian striker Jobby Justin has signed a two-year contract with ATK Mohun Bagan FC ahead of the seventh edition of the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL), the club confirmed on Saturday. The 26-year-old striker made 10 appearances for ATK FC last campaign, scoring and assisting once each.

“I am so happy and proud to join ATK Mohun Bagan FC in creating history in this new era and to sparkle goals to the city of joy,” he said after putting pen to paper.

Justin joined ATK after a breakthrough season with Hero I-League club East Bengal FC. He spent two seasons with them, scoring twice in eight matches in his first year and followed it up with nine goals in 17 matches in the 2018-19 season to finish as the highest Indian scorer in the Hero I-League. He made the move into the Hero ISL last season and lifted the coveted trophy in what was his debut campaign in the league.

Justin joins the likes of Roy Krishna, Prabir Das and Pritam Kotal, all of whom have signed contracts with ATK Mohun Bagan. While Krishna has signed a one-year contract, Pritam and Prabir have signed two and three-year deals respectively.
