The 2-2 draw between NorthEast United FC and Chennaiyin FC on Tuesday finally settled the top four positions in the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) 2019-20 table, thereby finalizing the semi-final line-ups for the season. FC Goa finished at the top of the points table at the end of the league phase with 39 from 18 matches, followed by ATK FC with 34 points in second, Bengaluru FC with 30 points in third and Chennaiyin with 29 points in fourth.

The double-legged semi-final phase will get underway on February 29, Saturday, with Chennaiyin FC playing host to table toppers FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai for the first leg of the semi-final 1. The return leg will see FC Goa enjoy home advantage at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda on March 7, Saturday.

Semi-final 2 will pit second placed ATK against third placed side and defending Hero ISL champions Bengaluru. The first leg of the fixture will be played at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on March 1, Sunday. The second leg, meanwhile, will be at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on March 8, Sunday.

The two teams making it through to the final will face off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on March 14, Saturday, for the title of the Hero ISL 2019-20 champions and the coveted trophy.
