Over 500 children attend FCPC grassroots festivals

Hero Indian Super League side FC Pune City kicked off their grassroots development festivals on the weekend of 12th and 13th March. The festival on March 12 took place at Victorius School in Kharadi Pune, while the festival conducted on March 13 was held at St. Vincent’s High School Ground, Pune. Both festivals featured participants only born in the years 2004 and 2005.

One hundred and ninety-four kids gathered at the Victorius School leg, while the St. Vincent’s High School Ground leg saw as many as 326 youngsters take to the field. Out of the 194 participants in the Victorius School leg, 38 were girls.

The St. Vincent’s High School Ground leg featured 51 young girls. Youngsters from Vincent’s High School Ground leg came from schools such as St. Vincent’s, Vidya Bhavan, Loyola High School, Orchid School and SPM English School - but to name a few.
