Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) outfit Jamshedpur FC has retained defender Karan Amin ahead of the 2020-21 season. The defender has been with the Jamshedpur FC since 2017 and has represented the club across three Hero ISL seasons as well as twice in the Super Cup.

“I am extremely delighted to stay with Jamshedpur FC. I want to keep on playing as many games as possible, get better and contribute as much as possible for the top spot this year,” shared the 31-year-old defender.

Karan made his debut with Jamshedpur FC in the Hero Super Cup, during the 2017-18 season, having previously been a part of the youth set-ups of Mumbai FC and Air India, and Hero I-League second division side PIFA Sports FC. During his time with Jamshedpur, the defender has made six appearances in the Hero ISL.

“Jamshedpur holds a special place in my heart. The club has given me so much, the fans have showed so much affection and the city has become like my second home,” the defender shared.

The re-signing of Karan follows a list of defensive reinforcement brought in by Jamshedpur's new head coach Owen Coyle, including the likes of Laldinliana Renthlei, Stephen Eze, Peter Hartley and Ricky Lallawmawma.
