After a month of toiling it out on the field and giving their all for their respective teams, this was a time where the players could cool their heels and have light moments with friends and families, away from their rigorous training regimes.
We take a look at what some of these players were up to during the festival of hope and happiness.
Mumbai City FC’s hitman Balwant Singh, who is the team’s top scorer in the ongoing campaign, reminded his Twitter followers about his roots, clubbing it with the red-and-white festivities of the day.
