Delhi Dynamos FC will be hoping to extend their five-match unbeaten streak when they face off against FC Pune City at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Pune on Sunday. Both sides are out of contention for a spot in the semi-finals, but will want to end the season on a high.

At the pre-match press conference, Delhi head coach Josep Gombau shared his views on the encounter and said, "I think both sides are doing quite well in their last few games. I think it will be quite an interesting game. Both sides are in good shape. For us, it will be a difficult game because we are playing away but we also have the confidence that we are doing well. It can be an interesting game for the people in the stadium."

Like Delhi, Pune, too, have been in fine form since the league resumed in January and Gombau seemed well-aware of the Stallions' quality. "Pune have prepared very well, they had good games against Jamshedpur and NorthEast – two teams that are playing good football. So, it will be quite a good game. I think they are a team that has shown a lot of improvement. They have very strong players like Marcelo Pereira and Iain Hume. They are players that have a lot of talent," he opined.

When asked about Lallianzuala Chhangte’s prospects after his recent trial in Norway, Gombau stated, "Chhangte is first of all very young – he is 21. But he has potential, he is very quick, and I think if he keeps working like this, then in time he can be one of the best wingers in India and he will have the chance to go to Europe."

Gombau concluded the press conference by providing an update on the availability of his players ahead of the tie. "We have Bikramjit Singh who was injured in the last game. Also, we have Nandhakumar Sekar who is injured. He will not be able to play tomorrow. Just these two. The rest are fit to play," he informed.
