Defender Pritam Kotal will move to ATK from Delhi Dynamos FC in the January transfer window. Delhi have revealed that they have agreed to a Rs 20 lakh transfer fee for the right back.

The Indian International, who is currently in UAE with the national team for the AFC Asian Cup 2019, has reportedly agreed personal terms with the two-time Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) champions and will join his new teammates after the AFC Asian Cup concludes.

This will be Kotal's second stint with the Kolkata-based club, having played and won the Hero ISL trophy with them in 2016. He moved to Delhi for the 2017-18 season and has also captained the Lions in this campaign.

The 25-year-old will provide ATK head coach Steve Coppell with some much-needed experience in the right back position. Kotal is a solid defender, who can also pitch in with important contributions up front. He has notched up two goals and four assists in his 48 Hero ISL matches so far.

His addition will aid in ATK's final push for a playoff spot once the league resumes after the international break. Coppell's men are currently in sixth position in the table with 16 points from 12 matches and are four points adrift of the fourth spot.
