Jamshedpur FC have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Noe Acosta on a one-year deal. The 35-year-old Spaniard is a graduate of the famed Real Madrid youth setup and comes with the experience of having played over 200 professional matches in Spain, Greece and Romania.

The left-footed creative midfielder plied his trade at Spanish clubs like CD Colonia Moscardo, Atletico Madrid C, Real Murcia Imperial, RSD Alcala during the initial phases of his career before moving to Romanian side FC Universitatea Cluj in 2010. Next year, he moved to Greece to play for Olympiacos Volou 1937 FC, where he played in the 2011-12 UEFA Europa League. Acosta even scored in the team's 3-0 away win against FC Differdange 03 for the third qualifying round.

He then went on to represent several other Greek sides like Aris Thessaloniki FC, Levadiakos FC, Olympiakos Volou, PAS Giannina FC, PAS Lamia 1964 and Athlitiki Enosi Larissa FC.

Technically sound, Acosta can play almost anywhere on the outfield but is more suited to play anywhere on the left-hand side of the midfield or as a no. 10. He has 23 career goals and 18 assists to his name.

After completing the paperwork, Acosta shared his thoughts with the official Jamshedpur FC website and said, "Firstly, I would like to thank the management of Jamshedpur FC for giving me this opportunity. I cannot wait to meet my new teammates and play in front of the fans at the Furnace. I have seen the facilities back in Jamshedpur and it looks impressive and I cannot wait to experience the same. I can assure the fans of Jamshedpur that we will together try and entertain them and win a lot of matches to make them proud. Jam Ke Khelo Jamshedpur."
