Jamshedpur FC travel to the Mumbai Football Arena to take on Mumbai City FC in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 on Thursday. After an all-important 1-0 win over defending champions ATK, the league debutants will be playing their third away fixture in a row. A well-known face in the Jamshedpur attacking line is their Haitian forward Kervens Belfort. The 25-year-old spoke exclusively to indiansuperleague.com prior to the match and shared his thoughts regarding the same. Excerpts:

Tell us about Steve Coppell as the team’s head coach. What do you admire most about him?

Last year, I played under Steve Coppell with Kerala Blasters FC. This year again, I am with him in Jamshedpur FC. He is a good coach. He works us a lot in training, so we play well. He has a good character and is like a father to all players.

How do you feel about going up against Mumbai City FC who’ve been one of the best teams in defence this season?

I do my job when I play. So, tomorrow I hope we have a good game, and take the three points and go home.

This is your third away game on the trot. What targets were set by the team for these games?

Before the three games, we fixed our minds to get nine points. But then we lost three points, and now we have one game left. So, we’ll try getting six points.

Who do you think will be the player to watch out for from Mumbai City FC?

There is one player in the Mumbai team who I have known from before and have played professional football with him. He is (Achille) Emana. He is a good player. He has played for Toulouse in France, and then he has played in Spain. I think he is a key player.
