Quick, technically sound and a great dribbler of ball, Argentinian Matias Defederico made his debut for Club Atlético Huracán aged just 18. The left-footed winger soon established himself in the side and formed a lethal combination with Javier Pastore. His performances soon caught the eye of South American heavyweights like Corinthians and Independiente. Following brief stints at both Corinthians and Independiente after a loss of form, Defederico returned to Huracán where he found his touch again. He made his international bow for Argentina on May 20, 2009 in style by capping off a brilliant display with a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against Panama. Defederico has already had a taste of football in Asia after representing UAE outfit Al Dhafra FC in 2014. Season 3 of the Hero ISL with Mumbai City FC, however, is set to be the 26-year-old's first experience of football in India.
