Jamshedpur FC were held to their second successive goalless draw in Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2017-18 as some heroic saves from Paul Rachubka denied them a first league victory. Speaking to indiansuperleague.com following the match was ex-Kerala Blasters striker Kervens Belfort, who was denied right at the death by one of those saves. The Haitian shared his thoughts regarding the match and here are excerpts from the interview.

Kervens, how did it feel coming back here, coming to this stadium?

I feel very, very happy to come back. All the fans asked me to come back, I’m very happy today. I feel very good.

Playing against Sandesh – a very tough defender – how was that battle today?

Sandesh is a good defender. Very, very strong you know. Today, he did a good job. I think we had a chance to win the game, but the goalkeeper made a good save.

You spoke about winning the game. Did you think the last chance was going in?

Yes. I went for the cross, the cross came in and in the last minute I went to head it in but…! (chuckles)

Are you happy with the draw coming to a difficult place like this?

I’m happy because we came here and took one point. We play at home in the next match, I’m very happy.
