Souvik Chakraborty saw his team Delhi Dynamos FC go down 1-0 to Kerala Blasters FC in the first leg of the second semi-final of Hero Indian Super League 2016 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday evening. Delhi went into the match as favourites but buckled under pressure in front of almost 50,000 spectators as Kervens Belfort got the only goal of the match in the 65th minute. Chakraborty, who has had a good season so far besides being the only player this year to play all matches from start to finish, spoke to indiansuperleague.com after the game and shared his thoughts. Here are the excerpts from the interview. What is your initial reaction on the match? We had more of the ball and missed a few chances as well. Now we will look forward to our home game. We will give our 200% to win.Do you think the result was unfair? There can be mistakes with decisions but when a genuine penalty is not given it hurts a bit. What are your plans going into the next game?We will try to win the next game by two goals and we will give our best.On a personal level, how has this season been so far? This season has gone better than last year because the coach is giving me more chances. But we must look to get into the final and then think about personal achievements. How is it playing under Gianluca Zambrotta?Just to play under him is a big deal. If we get to spend more time with him, it will be even better.
